Pathway is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated International Business Development Manager to facilitate International sales with existing and potential customers.

Summary

Reporting directly to the EVP, Global Sales the International Business Development Manager will be responsible for the Company’s International Business Development.

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS Degree in Business or Marketing
  • 5-10 years of experience in Business Development
  • 2-4 years of experience in International Business Development

Job Duties

  • Promotes and sells Pathway’s genetic tests and services.
  • Serve as a key member of the company’s strategic International Business Development team
  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
  • Design and implement account strategies that exceed expectations in revenue growth/retention, account profitability and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
  • Stay abreast of new developments and trends in laboratory diagnostic testing and health care industry.
  • Regularly prepare reports and coordinate communication of key issues to the EVP, Global Sales.
  • Be a driving force in the development of work ethic, culture and values of the sales and business development group. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company’s dealings with the international marketplace by demonstrating the highest level of integrity in all customer/company/employee interactions.
  • Manage complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required
  • Working closely with the EVP, Global Sales, builds long term and sustainable business development strategy and approach that meets our desire to grow and expand
  • Research and make recommendations on potential strategic partnerships or joint initiatives that supports the companies goal to grow our business
  • Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in our markets and with all staff, partners and customers
  • Manage complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel and finance as required
  • Manage multiple business initiatives through sales cycle
  • Works with marketing to develop collateral for sales and presentation
  • Be available to travel Internationally
  • Must meet or exceed all sales expectations established by the EVP, Global Sales.
  • Any other tasks assigned that this person is qualified to perform.
